Custom domains

Point your own hostname at an application and get HTTPS.

Every application already has a URL on *.senedx.app. You can add your own hostnames on top, from the Domains card on the application page.

Add the hostname

Type the hostname — app.example.com, for example — and save. SeneDx claims it and issues a DNS challenge: a TXT record name and value, plus a CNAME target for the traffic.

The records to create
; point the hostname at SeneDxapp.example.com. CNAME app.senedx.app.; prove you own it (the value comes from the console)_sncloud-challenge.app.example.com. TXT sncloud-verify=<token>

Verify

Create the records at your DNS provider, then press Verify. SeneDx re-reads the TXT record and marks the hostname verified — only then is it routed and given a certificate.

A hostname inside senedx.app already resolves, because that zone carries a wildcard, so only the TXT record is needed there. A hostname you own needs the CNAME as well.

Adding or removing a hostname needs the admin or owner role in the organization.
